Slippery Rock Men’s Rugby Club has been active for more than 30 years. We are a competitive yet social club that competes against Division I,II,III teams. Former members of
the ARU(Allegheny Rugby Union) we are currently in the MARC(Mid-Atlantic Rugby Conference, http://www.marc-rugby.org).
Our primary season is in the fall and tournament season is in the spring. Also, we play in some 7’s tournaments over the summer. The purpose of our club is to provide opportunities for students to learn how to play the game of rugby. There are no tryouts, we take all members at all experience levels

Slippery Rock Women's Rugby Club was founded in 1984. Our club has carried a long tradition of excellence. In the past seven years, we have achieved three berths to the national playoffs, despite being a small school among Division II teams. We are a member of the Allegheny Rugby Union, but we compete with teams outside of our conference as well. Any member, past or present, of Rock Rugby will agree that by stepping onto the pitch, they gained a family.
